Florianopolis fest to screen Iran’s ‘No Comment’

The Florianopolis Children’s filmfest in Brazil is to host Iran’s ‘No Comment’.

The 20th edition of the Florianopolis Children’s Film Festival in Brazil has been slated to host Iranian short flick ‘No Comment’.

Directed by Zhivar Farajzadeh, the short flick will go on screen at the International Competition category of the Brazilian fest running under the Portuguese name of Mostra de CinemA infantile de FLORIANOPOLIS.

‘No Comment’ is about child labor. It depicts the difficulties the children are facing during the coronavirus crisis.

The film got its international premiere at the 2020 DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival in Ukraine.

Taking part in the 2020 International Coronavirus Film Festival in India brought it the Best Short Film Award.

Farajzadeh has already made the award-winning flick ‘Serok’ which grabbed an award at the Spi Stories 2020 “Abbiamo bisogno di uguaglianza/ We need equality” in Italy.

The Florianopolis Children’s Film Festival is a cultural event aiming to highlight the Brazilian and universal multiplicity of culture.

What matters most to the event holders is the content quality of the films as they can shape children’s values and knowledge.

This year’s edition of the event is slated for October 16-24.
